Marriage
Christian Marriage is the making of a life-long covenant of love between
two baptised persons. It is the bringing together in partnership of two
people in a union, celebrated and blessed by the Church in the sacrament
of Christian Marriage.
To avoid disappointment, you should check
the availability of the Church
before
you book your reception venue.
St Mary’s Church is only available for the celebration of marriage
according to the Rites of the Catholic Church, that is, with a Catholic
Priest as Celebrant.
You will need to contact the Parish Priest before you make any firm
arrangements for your wedding. We will do everything we can to assist
you.
